Acoustiguide, SCALA Publishers Form Strategic Alliance Both Companies to Promote Innovative Uses of Audio Tour Content

Acoustiguide Corporation, based in New York, and SCALA Publishers, based in London, are pleased to announce a strategic alliance to promote innovative uses of audio tour content. The alliance unites the world's most experienced producer of interpretive audio programming and the leading publisher of popular volumes illustrating museum collections.

The first SCALA book published in cooperation with Acoustiguide, The Frick Collection: A Tour, has been a resounding success and a bestseller in several languages. This illustrated souvenir guide to one of New York's landmark cultural institutions is available in English, French, Italian, Spanish, German, and Japanese, using the different language texts created for the audio guide.

"Our strategic alliance with SCALA Publishers brings a broader spectrum of capabilities and resources to our clients worldwide," said Barbara Roberts, President and CEO of Acoustiguide. "We take pride in helping institutions broaden their audiences and create new educational opportunities. Working with SCALA Publishers is a natural for us."

David Campbell, Chairman of SCALA Publishers agrees: "We are delighted to be working with Acoustiguide who like us are deeply committed to pursuing the very best, the newest and most excitingly designed material for museums. This alliance broadens the services we can offer very considerably."
