New Guide-U Contract with US Capitol Visitors Center

Okt 20 2007

Espro Acoustiguide Group, the global provider of audio guide, multimedia interpretation systems and creative content, is pleased to announce that the United States Capitol Visitors Center ("the U.S. Capitol) has awarded its first contract to Acoustiguide Inc., the Group's U.S. subsidiary.

The U.S. Government will take delivery of upwards of 1,700 Guide-U group guiding units in December 2007. The Guide-U platform will allow up to 100 trained guides to offer simultaneous high quality interpretation to large groups, on different frequencies. This represents the core technology platform for the new Capitol Visitor Center, and will be used by an anticipated five million annual visitors. Other benefits of the system include enhanced crowd control, increased accessibility for the hearing impaired, and entry into historically notable spaces with poor acoustics.

The United States Capitol in Washington DC is one of the most recognized historical buildings in the U.S. Its cornerstone was laid by President George Washington and it houses the chambers of the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate.

Ted Vasquez, CEO of Acoustiguide Inc., commented: "We are exceedingly proud that our Guide-U equipment will be an integral component of the visitor experience at one of our nation's most significant historic sites."
