Exhibition: The Sensuous and the Sacred: Chola Bronzes from South India

Designed for the entire family, this audio tour brings highlights from this exhibition of ancient Chola Bronzes to life with a blend of lively storytelling, rich sound effects, authentic Indian music and voices from the Greater Cleveland Shiva Vishnu Temple in Parma, Ohio. This particular stop features a third-grade student trained in traditional Indian singing. In 2004, the National Association of Interpretation honored this tour with an Interpretation Award. One judge commented, “The addition of real people, the child singer in the third grade in particular, was enjoyable and effective in telling the stories behind the symbolism.”
